Yes, you heard me right \u201cData is Adamant\u201d and it’s making us dance around it.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For over so many years organizations have embraced  social, economical , political and educational reforms and during this journey they have been receiving tons of data at their disposal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the change in time and change in market dynamics many organizations have flourished and many perished but data out grew its size, its nature and became adamant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By adamant nature I mean to say it has become sticky to the place it originated from, it became uncontrollable in terms of its volume , structure and variety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Though we all know that Data is a new oil but unless and until we don\u2019t refine it we can\u2019t fuel our decision making propeller engines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And one of the consequences of reality is that 73% of the data you create in your enterprise goes unused. That\u2019s a very expensive and honestly ineffective approach<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In my view rather than changing the nature of data organization who have discovered the magic of getting pally with it have started reaping the benefits in form of better business outcomes. And this is possible by laying a strong AI foundation to mince the data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However just by adopting AI doesn\u2019t guarantee for a success and many organizations have failed because of their not understanding the basic recipe of the AI magic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I believe, in order to tame the adamant nature of data ,organizations need to follow two basic things, and they are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Having an IA ( Information Architecture) for AI as recommended by AI Ladder.<\/li>
  2. Flexibility to move AI where data is residing.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
